We currently offer standard Canada Post Xpresspost delivery to addresses within Canada and the United States. We do not ship to any other countries outside of Canada and the U.S.
Rates start at:
CANADA: $14 Canadian for the first item and $4 Canadian for each additional item
USA: $22 Canadian for the first item and $12 Canadian for each additional item
Processing Times
We will make every effort to process orders within 48 hours (excluding Holidays) from which they are received pending availability and credit card verification. In the event of a delay we will notify you by email.
For an estimate of how long your package will take to arrive please take into consideration the following factors:
- Your order should arrive within 2 weeks after it has been processed.
- Currently we only offer standard shipping.

We hope you love every item you purchase at Little Black Dress Shop, however, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange the merchandise within 10 days of receipt. The merchandise must be in original condition, unworn, unsoiled, undamaged, unaltered, with tickets/labels intact, and be accompanied by the invoice. Items washed, dry cleaned, torn, odoriferous (ie. smokey), streaked, stained, etc., are not exchangeable.
We DO NOT refund purchases.
All exchanges have to be made within 10 days of receipt. Please note, however, that accessories (jewelry, purses, bags, scarfs, wraps, etc.) are FINAL SALE items and therefore cannot be returned for exchange, credit, or refunds.
Please note:
- All exchanges MUST be authorised. We will not accept unauthorised exchanges (NO EXCEPTIONS). All unauthorised exchanges will be returned to sender.
- Items returned for exchange after the allocated exchange time will not be processed and returned to sender (at sender's expense).
- Shipping and handling charges are not refundable and Little Black Dress Shop does not cover the shipping on any exchanged items.
- Your exchange will be processed after our exchange department inspects and approves the item(s). Items that have been damaged, altered, worn, washed or dry cleaned by the customer will not be accepted and will be returned without exchange.
- We recommend that all exchanges be packaged securely and shipped via a prepaid, insured, traceable method to ensure a safe delivery.
Instructions for exchange:
- Contact LBDS customer service via this Contact Form to receive an exchange authorization.
- Please indicate the reason for exchange in the email.
- If approved, an email will be sent to you with an exchange form.
- Fill out the form and make sure it is included in the return for exchange package you are sending back. This will help in expediting your exchange.
- If there is a balance due to price difference, you will be billed and your exchange will only go out after payment has been received.
- If there is a credit, you will notified and the difference will be posted to your account.
- There may be an additional shipping charge for exchanged items. You will be notified first for approval.
